Wardrobe Organisation Part Two
And so the story continues in Wardrobe Organisation Part Two.
Looking back at what we have now accomplished and hoping you have donated that bit of clothing you will never wear we continue with the organisational process. Weather you have kept your original wardrobe or purchased a new one, hopefully you’ve come in to see us at Better Furniture and have had it delivered and put together by our brilliant delivery team you are now well on the way.
Lets take a look at your clothing you are now going to put back into your wardrobe.
Sweaters should always be folded in order for them to keep there shape, how often have you put a sweater on that had been hung up and find it just doesn’t fit like when you first purchased it, so fold it and put it on a shelf. Now when putting them away put the less worn items to the back of the wardrobe or to the bottom of the stack or you’ll find a mess will once again begin creeping up on you yet again.
Shirts, everything from t-shirts, polo shirts, casual shirts to dress shirts. It is a matter of personal opinion but most find organising like types together the best way of grouping. Once you have them grouped arrange them in patterns, striped, checked, paisley, etc… I’m sure your getting the gist of what we’re trying to do. Right with that task out of the way arrange them by colour, think of a rainbow. How awe-inspiring and calming is the sight of a rainbow, yep now you see where this is all headed.
Another additional thing to think about is the hangers. Are you still using a combination of hangers you got from the retailer you bought your clothes from along with a mixture of plastic, metal and whatever else you could put your hands on at the time. Wood clothing hangers are the best for hanging anything on as there sturdy and will always hold there shape keeping your clothes in the best possible condition. Sure there more expensive so I’m not saying to run out and purchase them all at one time, you can gradually do it to minimise the cost.
Jeans and trousers, what to do? Well of course trousers should always be hung and jeans can also be hung if you like to keep them looking tidy. Again arrange them by colour making your life easier when getting ready to choose a pair to put on.
As far as skirts and dresses and all things frilly, and before you ask, no I personally don’t own any, though do own a few Kilts, but they would also be arranged the same as the rest of what we have just talked about.
And now for the last bit, your shoes. I personally arrange them by style and colour then arrange them right shoe toe out and left shoe heel out so you can see both to make finding what you’re planning to wear easy.
And there you have it a wardrobe that makes getting ready for whatever the occasion easier and a joy. So concludes, Wardrobe Organisation Part Two.
